The Chickens - Our "French-Connection"

Our organic chickens are a French breed with special qualities that make them particularly adaptable to organic farming. These birds are renowned for their robustness, undemanding nature and slow maturation. The excellent quality of the meat is a result of the long feeding period on our organic farms. These birds are plumped up for up to 80 days. During this time they reach a weight of about 3 kg while consuming around  8kg of feed.

Beaks are not cropped or treated in any way. This allows the animals to preen naturally and exhibit a completely normal social behaviour Female and male animals are kept in one flock, which will also be slaughtered at the same time.
